About me

A developer who treats the web like a canvas.

I'm Alex, a full-stack developer based on the web. For the past six years I've been building digital products that sit right at the intersection of engineering, design and motion.

My favorite problems are the ones where performance and polish seem to be at odds — figuring out how to make something feel effortless while millions of events fly through it under the hood.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me tinkering with generative art, over-engineering my coffee setup, or writing about what I've learned on my blog.

What I value

Craft over speed

I ship fast, but never at the cost of the details that make software feel trustworthy.

Motion with meaning

Animation should communicate, not decorate. Every transition earns its place.

Performance is UX

A beautiful interface that stutters is a broken one. I obsess over the milliseconds.

Build in the open

I share what I learn, write about my process, and contribute back when I can.
